3F HOUSE
Type: Interior

Theme, context:
3F House was developed in collaboration with Ezzo design.
The existing architecture is well defined, offering large openings onto the surrounding gardens. The proportions and configuration of the interior establish subtle guidelines for what is to be done with the space. The clients own a steel workshop, a fact which assisted the development of bespoke details and furniture. At the same time, their brief and wish-list consisted largely of images which resonate strongly with us and were the cornerstone of an extremely fruitful relationship.

Concept:
The design emphasizes simple materials, predominantly wood and metal. Given the opportunity of designing custom details, steel contributes slenderness to volumes and elements. In keeping with this approach, the natural expression of wood adds vibrancy to space without being overtly decorative.
